Korea-Vietnam Launches Full-scale
“Smart City Cooperation”
After the establishment of the “Korea-Vietnam Smart City Construction Technology Cooperation Center” in Hanoi, Vietnam, on August 13th, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT, Minister Park Sangwoo) will begin full-scale cooperation.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT, Minister Park Sangwoo) will hold the “Innovative Smart Logistics Service Idea Contest” from Aug. 13 to Nov. 1 to discover innovative business models utilizing various data in the logistics industry.
MOLIT Seeks Cooperation Measures in the Korea-Saudi Infrastructure Sector
On Wednesday, July 31st, at 10:00 AM, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT, Minister Park Sangwoo) met with Saudi Arabian Minister of Commerce Majid bin Abdullah Al-Kassabi and discussed infrastructure and economic cooperation measures between Korea and Saudi Arabia.

Abstract :
The smart city services verifi ed through the R&D project were mainly identifi ed from the perspective of the state and the public sector to solve urban challenges and make our cities sustainable. When data is disclosed through the Data Hub and the marketplace function gets activated, it will attract ideas, start-ups and companies from the private sector, thereby leading to expansion into new businesses.
