UAVs Will Run in Korea!
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT, Minister Park Sangwoo) will grant permission (temporary operation permit*) for the operation of unmanned autonomous vehicles (UAVs) developed by domestic autonomous driving sprout companies (startups) on public roads to revitalize the development of unmanned autonomous driving technology.
MOLIT Seeks Korea-Saudi Arabia Smart City Cooperation Measures
On May 24th, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT, Minister Park Sangwoo) met with Abdullah bin Sharaf Alghamdi, the Minister of Saudi Arabian Data & AI Authority (SDAIA),* at the Korea Territorial Development Museum to discuss cooperation measures in the smart city field involving Korea and Saudi Arabia.

In addition, main issues will be discussed to shed light on the way forward for smart cities.
