Abstract :
Growth-oriented urban development brought about a new set of issues to modern cities such as environmental degradation and pollution of water resources as it cause derosion of the natural environment and excessive consumption of energy. Environmental challenges that transcend national borders have led to a drive to build smart cities to enable sustainable growth where nature and the city co-exist and to solve urban challenges by utilizing modern ICT.
