The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT, Minister Park Sang-woo) will be holding a public contest for the [2025 Smart City Development/Expansion Project] on March 17th to integrate smart technologies, such as AI, into cities, to solve various urban issues, and to activate the smart city industry through cooperation between local governments and companies.
MOLIT Provides Demo Costs after Finding Companies with Innovative Smart City Technologies and Services
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT, Minister Park Sang- woo) will launch the [2025 Innovative Smart City Technology Discovery and Service Model Verification Project] contest on Mar. 12, thus providing opportunities to demonstrate smart city innovation technologies and services to SMEs with excellent technologies applicable to smart cities.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT, Minister Park Sang-woo) will launch the 2025 [K-City Network Global Cooperation Program] contest, which supports the global advancement of Korean smart cities, on Jan. 21.

Abstract :
Smart city is an unfinished future city yet. This paper is about the future of the future city. To understand the smart city that is coming slowly to our daily life, we need to talk about 3 things. First, understanding of the smart city in the historical context of cities that developed since 7,000~8,000 years ago by Homo Sapiens, a modern human, who emerged 200,000 to 300,000 years ago.
