MOLIT and MSIT Join Hands to Support the Use of Public Restricted Data in the Data Economy Era
High-precision aerial photographs, satellite images, electronic maps, and other publicly restricted spatial information* that were only provided in the spatial information safe zone of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT, Minister Park Sang-woo) in Seoul (Gangnam) will now be available in the Data Safety Zone in Daejeon, which is operated by the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT, Minister Yoo Sang-im).

Minister Park Sang-woo of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) met with Mayor Maimunah Mohd Sharif of Kuala Lumpur on the morning of Thursday, October 10th, at the Korea Territorial Development Museum in Seoul to discuss urban cooperation measures between Korea and Malaysia, including the establishment of smart cities.
